Our story
About Us
Hi there,
We are Thomas and Letitia and we are so glad you found your way here.
In 2021 we moved to our five-acre property outside of Mackay and while one of us (*ahem* Letitia) was buying animals to add to the family, the other one of us was buying plants to add to the property.
Thomas' excitement and evidence of improved soil health and increased amounts of home-grown food rubbed off onto Letitia and we are now spreading the food forest love far and wide.
What started as a way to pass time outdoors as a family has quickly become a full-time passion; we love being outside with our four children with our hands in the soil; planting, managing, sorting, mulching and educating others on this journey.
The desire to help others install food forests doesn't end there, we are now also selling fruiting trees to allow others to harbor the feeling of picking their own fruit, from their own trees, on their own property.
Our main goal is to help others realise that they can grow their own fruit and vegetables and that it's easy, fun and the reward of endless home-grown produce is indescribable. There is no better feeling than your child or the younger generation picking some home-grown fruit and eating it with wild abandon; as they throw the skin to the side, juice drips down their chin and the corners of their mouth turn into a giddy grin. It's one of our favourite moments to witness.
